Obstetric And Gynecological Nursing Position
Provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecological nursing care to patients in a hospital setting. Ensures safe and effective delivery of care through clinical expertise, coordination, and patient education.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ health status by collecting pertinent data and analyzing assessment findings.
- Develop individualized care plans targeting patient needs and medical objectives.
- Implement nursing interventions, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, supportive environment.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
- Demonstrate experience in OB/GYN or maternal health nursing.
- Maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Exhibit strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
