American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics position requiring EPIC experience and NRP certification.
Details- Work in the Obstetrics Acute unit of a hospital setting
- Night Shift schedule from , working 36-48 hours per week
- Must be able to take over a recovery in Labor and Delivery and catch a baby during a cesarean section
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and caring treatment
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients, families, and team members
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be automatically declined
- Candidates with any prior adverse action on their license will not be considered
- No radius rule applies, and local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
