American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and ACLS/PALS certification.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS certification required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
- PALS certification required (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
- Minimum of three years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- Variable 12-hour shifts, either 12:00-00:30 or 15:00-03:30
- 36-48 hours per week
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care planning
- Implement care plans and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane care
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- No radius requirement, as local rates match travel rates
- Candidates can only be submitted to one hospital within the Adventist Health system at a time
