Part‑time Associate – 828 Hanford

Location:

552 N. 11th Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230, United States.

Starting rate: $16.90 per hour.

• Operate a cash register, receive payment from customers, make change or process check/charge/debit transactions, and verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers, offering current store and product information.
• Maintain and stock assigned store sections, including shelving, end displays, floor stacks, advertised displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases; check product date codes and ensure proper rotation.
• Prepare perishable products for sale and order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Review invoices/bills for accuracy and complete basic bookkeeping duties such as recording lost or damaged goods and store supplies.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot.
• Load customer purchases and assist customers to their vehicles when requested.

• Read, write, and converse in English; comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Provide excellent customer service and love the local community.
