In this role, you’ll work alongside dentists and hygienists to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient.
- Chairside Support:
Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of clinical procedures; ensure smooth, efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery. - Clinical Preparation & Sterilization:
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures; maintain strict infection control standards by sterilizing equipment and sanitizing work spaces. - Patient Care &
Experience:
Provide compassionate, patient-focused support to ensure comfort and understanding; educate and motivate patients as needed to support overall care. - Documentation & Records:
Accurately maintain patient charts, records, and treatment notes; ensure documentation is complete, organized, and compliant. - Inventory & Supplies:
Monitor, order, and maintain supplies and equipment; track inventory and ensure availability of necessary materials. - Compliance & Team Support:
Follow guidelines set by the American Dental Association (ADA), Missouri Dental Board, and organizational policies; support the team with additional duties as needed.
- High school diploma preferred (not required).
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred; we’re open to training the right candidate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
