Tutoring
Both Federal Work-Study and Non-Work-Study positions available
Weekly scheduled shifts between 7:00–10:00 p.m., Monday–Thursday; typically 2–6 hours per week.
Position Summary
Student tutors provide academic support in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Tutors are expected to be approachable, patient, and helpful while demonstrating strong customer service skills while working with fellow students. Preference will be given to students who are confident and demonstrate competency in multiple subject areas (for example, Writing and History).
Qualifications- Demonstrate strong academic performance in the subject area(s) they wish to tutor.
- Communicate concepts clearly and encourage student learning.
- Be dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining scheduled tutoring hours.
- Obtain a recommendation from a faculty member who can speak to their academic ability and readiness to serve as a tutor.

* Please Note – Any student hired to work on campus must present ORIGINAL I-9 approved identification documents. The most common I-9 approved documents are driver’s license and social security card OR passport.
