Douglass Community Services, Inc. is seekinga visionary Executive Director to leadour human servicesagency and advanceour mission of creating opportunities and improving livesthroughout our region. As the organization’sprimary advocate andleader, the Executive Director will provide strategic direction, oversee operations, support a talentedleadership team, ensure strong fiscal stewardship, and build meaningfulpartnerships that expandour community impact.

The Executive Directorserves as thechief executive leaderof Douglass Community Services, providing strategic and operational leadership while working closely with the Boardof Directors, staff, community partners, andfunders. This roleis responsible for ensuring the organization’scontinued growth, sustainability, and effectiveness inserving children, families, and individuals throughout the community.

• Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually
• Paid Time Off: 14 paid holidays plus a 2-week Winter Shutdown(valued at over $10,000 in paidtime away)
• Upfront Leave: 40 hours ofPTO and 24hours of unpaidtime off available immediately
• PTO Accrual:
  Earn 6.25% ofhours worked fromdate of hire, with progressive increasesafter the firstyear

• Provide visionary leadership and direction forthe organization’s programs, services, and initiatives.
• Develop and execute long-term strategicplans aligned withthe agency’s mission and community needs.
• Oversee daily operations while ensuring organizationaleffectiveness and sustainability.

• Lead, mentor, and support the executive leadership team, including the CFO, CHRO, and program Directors.
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on accountability, innovation, and excellence.
• Support program leaders across Head Start, Housing,Foster Grandparent Program (FGP), Volunteer Programs, and CASA.

• Maintain strong fiscaloversight of agencyoperations, budgets, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations,contracts,and fundingrequirements.
• Provide oversight offederal grants, including monitoring expenditure sand supporting successfulgrant management.

• Serve as thepublic face and advocate for Douglass Community Services.
• Build and maintain strong relationshipswithdonors, funders, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Expand fundraising opportunities and revenue-generatinginitiatives to supportorganizational growth.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services,Education, Psychology,Social Work, ora related field(Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5years of leadershipor managerial experience in a nonprofit, human services, or educational organization.
• Demonstrated experience writing, managing, and overseeing federal grants.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft
  365 and Google Workspace.
