Hannibal, MO. Full-time, Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

What You'll DoPatient Care & Clinical Support
  • Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  • Review medical histories, medications, and reason for visit.
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Administer medications and injections within your scope of practice.
  • Collect lab specimens, perform blood draws, and support laboratory services as needed.
  • Monitor patient needs and communicate concerns to the provider and care team.
Care Coordination & Documentation
  • Accurately document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Assist with medication refill requests and patient medication questions.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and up‑to‑date medical records.
  • Coordinate care with providers and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.
Patient Education & Team Collaboration
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare.
  • Help create a welcoming, safe, and patient‑centered environment.
  • Collaborate with providers and teammates to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
    Current LPN license in the State of Missouri (or ability to obtain). Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
  • Medical Assistant (MA):
    Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • For All Candidates:
    Strong patient care and communication skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced clinical setting. Experience using electronic health records (EHRs) and basic computer applications. Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional patient service.
  • Preferred Experience:

    Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, outpatient, or ambulatory care settings. Experience with phlebotomy, injections, and laboratory specimen collection. Knowledge of preventative health practices and patient education.
