Centerstone is seeking a compassionate and motivated Youth Community Support Specialist (CSS) to provide community-based behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families. In this rewarding role, you'll work one-on-one with youth to help them develop healthy coping skills, improve daily functioning, strengthen relationships, and achieve their individualized goals.

What You'll DoProvide community-based support services to children, adolescents, and families.
Help youth develop essential life skills, coping strategies, social skills, emotional regulation, and problem-solving abilities.
Assist youth in achieving goals identified within their individualized treatment plans.
Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to support positive behavioral change.
Build trusting relationships with youth and families while encouraging engagement in treatment and services.
Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, schools, physicians, and other community providers to support client success.
Advocate for youth and families by connecting them to community resources and supportive services.
Support youth in developing healthy routines, improving school performance, and strengthening family and peer relationships.
Facilitate psycho educational and skill-building activities in individual and group settings.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency, state, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training opportunities.
Qualifications Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, or a related human services field; OR Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with at least two years of qualifying experience; ORAny combination of higher education and qualifying experience totaling four years; OR Associate degree in Behavioral Health Support; ORFour years of qualifying experience.
* Qualifying experience includes: providing support, coaching, mentoring, skill development, or behavioral health services to children, adolescents, or adults with mental health, substance use, or developmental challenges.
