OverviewThe Construction Project Manager ('Project Manager') position is the primary catalyst to the ongoing success and day-to-day operations at New Path. The Project Manager will be responsible for all facets within the end-to-end construction process. Successful Project Managers will demonstrate superior leadership capabilities and will operate well under pressure. It is expected that a project manager has strong Construction acumen and communication capabilities.
ConstructionOperations Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
- Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
- Manage the end-to-end construction process for company projects including but not limited to:
- Assemble, manage and maintain Gantt Style construction schedule
- Manage and lead monthly client billing process
- Manage subcontractor selection and supervision process
- Manage and maintain control of project financials utilizing proprietary Project Financial Book ©
- Manage client expectations and day-to-day communication
- Manage Site Superintendents and Project Coordinators
- Manage/prepare and review the following documents for assigned projects:
- Subcontractor scopes
- Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Submittals
- Daily Reports
- Weekly Reports
- Manage accuracy of New Path’s construction software program to ensure project organization and efficiency
- Client Advocate
- Project Manager shall be available to clients 24-7 as needed
- Project managers are responsible for clients returning for subsequent projects with the Company
- Must listen to clients and ensure that New Path is meeting/exceeding expectations
- Company Advocate
- Project Managers shall assist in the training and development of junior level operations staff
- Project Managers must garner internal trust and respect through honest work at an efficient and effective level
- Self-Advocate

- Project Managers shall continue to better themselves and embrace a culture of continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, architecture, engineering or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of complex construction principles
- Strong Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read all plans
- Minimum 6 years of direct construction experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to utilize the Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) at a superior level
- Ability to multi-task and take on numerous projects
- Willingness to travel for work is a plus
