Pouch Operator

Pro Ampac is seeking a Pouch Operator to join our flexible packaging manufacturing team. In this role, you'll set up, operate, and monitor pouch-making machines to produce high-quality packaging for food, consumer, healthcare, and industrial markets. Responsibilities include machine changeovers, quality checks, basic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. You'll follow safety and GMP standards, document production data, and collaborate with team members to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor pouch-making equipment
• Perform machine changeovers and adjustments to meet specifications
• Conduct in-process quality checks and inspect finished pouches
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and coordinate repairs as needed
• Follow all safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards
• Complete production logs and maintain accurate documentation
• Handle and load films and materials according to work orders
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and reduce waste
• Support preventive maintenance and report equipment concerns
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members as needed
