5:30am - 4:00pm
Hanover Park, IL area. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and sorting precision-machined components using microscopes and precision measuring equipment. This role ensures that all products meet established quality standards by identifying defects, verifying dimensions, and segregating non-conforming parts. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Inspector Responsibilities- Measure dimensions of parts
- Examine parts for defects such as cracks and blowholes
- Separate and mark defective castings according to salvage operation required
- Meet productivity standards
- Observe safety and security procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent attendance
- Good problem solving and organizational skills
