Warehouse Associate

CTI Staffing is partnering with a leading technology solutions organization to find Warehouse Associates for their distribution operation based in Hanover Park, IL.

This team handles the full flow of incoming and outgoing product, from receiving verification through pick, pack, and quality check. It's a fast-paced, detail-driven environment where accuracy matters on every shipment.

What You'll Do

• Verify incoming shipments against shipping documents and flag discrepancies or damage
• Enter receipts and print labels using warehouse computer systems
• Pick outbound orders using RF scanners, confirming quantity and product accuracy
• Select appropriate box sizes and pack products for shipment
• Route packed boxes to the conveyor line for quality check
• Maintain a safe, organized work area throughout each shift
• Communicate clearly with team members to keep orders moving on schedule
• Respond to questions or issues from teammates and supervisors in a timely way

What You Bring

Must-Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience
• Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and warehouse safety procedures
• Basic computer skills
• Strong multitasking, organization, and time management
• Ability to communicate in English to the extent needed for the role
• Ability to stand, lift moderate loads, and work in a confined warehouse space for a full shift
• Reliable, predictable attendance

Nice-to-Have:

• Prior experience with RF scanners or handheld inventory devices
• Experience in a distribution or logistics environment
• Comfort working on a mezzanine or elevated work area

Technical Environment:

• RF scanner and handheld devices
• Warehouse computer terminal for receipt entry and label printing
• Conveyor and quality-check line systems

What Success Looks Like:

• Consistent accuracy on receiving and picking with minimal discrepancies
• Full independence on the floor within the first few weeks
• Reliable attendance and shift performance
