Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

In this role, you’ll help build and operate the AWS cloud foundations that power our markets businesses, enabling secure, scalable platforms for high‑performance trading, analytics, and data workloads across Securitized Products. Your work will sit at the core of mission‑critical systems, driving resilience, automation, and cost efficiency while meeting the rigorous security and regulatory standards of capital markets.

• Designing, building, and operating production‑grade cloud infrastructure and shared platform services
• Infrastructure‑as‑code using tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or equivalent frameworks
• Cloud automation, CI/CD pipelines, and operational best practices with an automation‑first mindset
• Containerized platforms and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
• Reliability, observability, and resilience patterns including monitoring, logging, alerting, disaster recovery, and capacity planning

• Good cloud networking and security fundamentals, including VPC design, IAM, encryption, and secrets management
• Platform engineering concepts such as internal developer platforms, shared services, and paved‑road cloud adoption
• Cost optimization and capacity management for large‑scale cloud environments
• Dev Sec Ops  practices, including integrating security scanning and policy enforcement into CI/CD workflows
• SRE and operational excellence practices such as incident management, post‑mortems, and continuous reliability improvement

This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.

Minimum Salary: $170,000

Maximum Salary: $230,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.

• Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
• Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
• Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
• Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.

• To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
