Job Description

This position is Non Exempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. It reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs, formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies, and may require a Bachelor's degree in a related area and 4‑6 years of experience in the field. The role has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform its functions.

Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. This role is for a Support Analyst who will support the POMSnet application, a manufacturing execution system used globally. On a daily basis, the resource will assist sites in troubleshooting issues, providing workarounds, and escalating system defects to the vendor. POMSnet experience is not required, but aptitude for learning new complex applications is.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
  • Formulate systems that align with overall business strategies.
  • Support the POMSnet application, troubleshoot issues, provide workarounds, and raise defects to the vendor.
  • Assist in applying the Systems Development Life Cycle.
Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

  • SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Manufacturing experience (preferred).
  • Application development (preferred).
  • Support experience (preferred).
  • Experience with vendor management (preferred).
