Overview
Job Description Purpose of the role:
Coordinate incident plans/responses and collaborate with various stakeholders through the use of various data resources.
Accountabilities:
Monitor real‑time security incidents and emergencies that may impact the bank's assets, colleagues and customers using various security systems and tools. Develop and coordinate a unique response and contingency plan for each case through effective deployment of resources and personnel.
Collaborate with teams across the bank, including the security operations team, facility management team, and external security vendors, to provide timely communication and responses to incidents and emergencies.
Implement and execute security policies and procedures during events of security incidents and emergencies. Execute training and drills for Joint Operations Centre colleagues to prepare and upskill them in the event of an emergency. Collect data from intelligence reports, media and operational news to update situational awareness databases and track progress of operations.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver prompt, resourced and group‑wide cyber, security and business incident management services. Provide swift business engagement, triage, impact assessment and escalation.
Utilize intelligence and tooling to understand future risk scenarios and potential for impacts to the bank, ensuring monitoring, triggers and escalation using response plans.
Ensure effective alignment of incident communications to ensure speed of delivery with detail tailored to audience requirements and align with Technology Command Center on producing single communication channels.
Provide timely correlation of events and alerts through effective use of dashboards and event management tooling and processes to provide visibility of potential or real security/resilience/technology issues and implement effective response processes to minimize and eliminate potential business interruptions.
Operate effective monitoring and alerting environment across TCC to present a real‑time view of the health of production services, key infrastructure and application components, as well as critical batch activity.
Provide oversight and management of all Barclays services to ensure operational stability through effective monitoring, event, change and incident management capabilities.

Minimum RequirementsExperience:
A combination of experience in security incident management, cyber security operations, and business continuity. Strong knowledge of incident management tools, monitoring, and response processes. Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders.
Minimum Salary: $ per year. Maximum Salary: $ per year. Base salary only; other compensation or benefits may be available.
