Software Engineer — Hybrid, Secure & Scalable Solutions

What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Software Engineer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Senior Developers and Testers to deliver requested changes across the full software development lifecycle.

• Produce suitable technical solutions and execute the necessary code changes needed for those requirements to be met.

• Develop and deliver high-quality solutions by using industry aligned programing languages, frameworks, and tools.

• Ensure that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.

• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.

• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.

• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.

• Implementation of effective practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

• May telecommute. Must be able to commute to Whippany, NJ office.

Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $189,592 per year

Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $195,000 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
