To be successful as a Liquid Financing Technology Senior Developer, you should have experience with:
- Developing enterprise‑grade applications using Java and Spring technologies
- Designing, building, testing, and deploying application components across the software development lifecycle
- Delivering low to medium complexity initiatives independently across multiple platform layers including SQL Server databases, messaging or streaming systems, caching layers, services, and UI
- Working with and modernising legacy applications while maintaining business continuity
- Operating effectively within agile environments while managing multiple priorities
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience with in Markets or Investment Banking environments
- Familiarity with legacy technologies such as VB6
- Good UI development experience, including Angular

This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the roleTo design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities- Development and delivery of high‑quality software solutions by using industry‑aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimised for performance.
- Cross‑functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organisation’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
- To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function.
