Overview

Vice President – Technical Lead – Compliance. Lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure delivery of high‑quality software solutions. Drive technical excellence, foster innovation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.

• Lead engineering teams to achieve project goals and organizational objectives.
• Oversee timelines, allocation, risk management, and task prioritization to deliver solutions within scope, time, and budget.
• Mentor and support team members’ professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and optimize productivity.
• Collaborate with business partners, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Enforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure high‑quality delivery.

• Define and deliver application and integration architecture for enterprise‑scale platforms.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions and drive delivery through an agile operating model.
• Lead the design and implementation of web, API, and integration services, establishing engineering standards and best practices.
• Promote API‑first, end‑to‑end development and govern architecture and integration patterns.
• Build and lead a high‑performing engineering team through hiring, people management, and professional development.
• Partner with the Colleague CIO organization to enable future platform integration and platform strategy.

• Considerable technical leadership with deep expertise in Java, Spring, Kafka, REST APIs, Open Shift, and modern engineering practices.
• Extensive experience in API‑first architecture, microservices, and event‑driven systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of application security, identity, and access management (OAuth, OpenID Connect, mutual TLS, etc.).
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing engineering teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong Dev Ops and stakeholder management capabilities; experience with CI/CD, Git Lab, Jenkins.
• Experience with modern cloud platforms (Open Shift, AWS); AI‑first mindset and Python development experience are highly valued.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices (Scrum, Kanban) and continuous improvement mindset.

Minimum Salary: $170,000 - $230,000 (base only). Eligible for incentive awards, medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
