South Shore Technical High School seeks a full‑time Carpentry Teacher for the  school year. Qualified candidates include Massachusetts educators holding Chapter 74 licensure in Carpentry or industry professionals who meet the licensure criteria below. Candidates holding a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's License are preferred.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of full‑time employment experience directly related to carpentry.
• Possession of a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's License.
• Passing score on the Vocational Technical Literacy Skills Test (VTEL) or Communication and Literacy Skills Test (MTEL).
• Passing score on the Vocational Educator Exam for Carpentry (written and performance).
