Emilson Y - Hanover, MA 02339 | Salary Range: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour.

The Instructor, under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, music, visual art, STEM and theater, is responsible for teaching students elements of their specified genre and other related subjects by creating a fun, safe, nurturing environment for all participants.

• Prepare lesson plans.
• Attend all staff meetings required by supervisor.
• Show flexibility and adaptability to changed situations.
• Attend all scheduled classes.
• Maintain good communication skills.
• Be prepared and on time for all classes, arriving early enough for set‑up time (15 minutes).
• Break down all equipment and organize properly.
• Run a quality program and provide students with positive experiences.

• In‑person evening, morning, and weekend classes.

• Extensive background in the specific realm (Art, Music, Theater, STEM, and Dance).
• Experience working with children in group settings (Toddler, Pre‑Kindergarten, K‑3).

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to act and move fast enough to keep children safe.
