School CounselorSouth Shore Technical seeks a School Counselor for the 2026‑2027 school year. The Counselor will primarily support the Grade 9 population with a successful transition to high school and manage the Exploratory program. The Counselor will also serve and support students in Grades 10‑12.

Title I grant anticipated
- Support Grade 9 students with a successful transition to high school
- Manage the Exploratory program
- Serve and support students in Grades 10‑12
- DESE Licensure as School Counselor [5‑12]
- Previous school counseling experience with students seeking career vocational training
- Master’s Degree in Guidance/Counseling
- Minimum three years as a vocational or classroom teacher
- Criminal background check required for all individuals with direct and unmonitored contact with students, in accordance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 71, §38R and 603 CMR 51, et seq.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
