Part Time Housekeeper

Benchmark Senior Living is looking for a housekeeper to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, associates, and visitors. Responsibilities include laundering linens, cleaning resident apartments, and maintaining common areas.

• Thoroughly clean all assigned resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor including bathrooms (toilet bowl, sinks, bathtubs, wiping countertops and mirrors, sterilizing floors).
• Clean kitchen surfaces, mop floors, and vacuum all exposed areas completely, including edges.
• Empty and rinse wastebaskets as necessary.
• Wash windows as needed.
• Clean all common areas according to standards and practices, including elevators, halls, landings, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, and model units, and other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested.
• Maintain a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and store chemicals per product or supervisor instruction.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings preferred; training will be provided.
• Understanding of proper handling of biohazardous waste.
