Processing Operators - Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Start and stop stretch blow‑molding machines to produce quality, rigid‑plastic containers.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubricating and/or tightening of machine assembles.
• Perform container inspections using test equipment, statistical quality methods and visual inspection techniques.
• Pack containers into boxes/cartons at designated production‑line speeds according to specifications and stack packed cartons to build 4ft. high units.
• Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and effective work environment as a responsible team member.
• Operate stretch blow molding machines, pull seepage, apply SPC methodologies for machine adjustments, change materials, assist in changeovers and identify start/stop of out‑of‑spec production.
• Fill in as Packaging Technician when needed to complete orders.
• Maintain and adhere to Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements.
• Adhere to Food Safety Compliance.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent attendance.
• Good housekeeping skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of product identification and basic math skills.
• Fork‑lift experience.
• Perform all duties safely and effectively.
• Physical mobility to walk, sit, bend, twist, stand, push, pull and lift (up to 50 pounds periodically).
• Work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
• Accurately complete routine paperwork.
• Work with automated equipment.
• Ability to operate a scanner.
• Work overtime as needed.
