Job OverviewAs a Customer Experience Colleague, you create personalized shopping experiences for customers. You engage shoppers across all touchpoints—both in‑store and online—and drive cross‑category sales to support business goals. You make tailored product suggestions, leverage digital tools, and collaborate across departments.
In this role you help build client relationships through My Client tools and social media, identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and elevate customer experience. You also support operational excellence through floor readiness, event execution, merchandise setup, and opening/closing procedures.
How Our Selling Colleagues Spend Their Day- Begin each day energized, wearing badge proudly, greeting teammates, ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared. Review sales goals, learn new arrivals, and stay updated on trends and promotions.
- On the floor, focus on the customer—warm welcome, eye contact, friendly conversation, building relationships.
- Maintain a shoppable space by recovering floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, supporting merchandise moves.
- Finish strong—share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have everything they need, thank them sincerely, and use their name.
- Support each other with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers.
- Strive for excellence—improve daily, achieve sales goals, and learn from others to deliver results.
Full‑time colleagues are scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week with weekend shifts; part‑time colleagues 12–24 hours. Hours depend on business needs and availability.
Who You Are- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with punctual attendance.
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
- Confident communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
- Meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourceful, eager to start new ventures, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently and in teams.
- Comfortable with electronic devices.
- At least 2 years of selling or customer experience preferred.
Physical Requirements You Will Perform
- Talk, lift, constantly move, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours, lift 25 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
- Require good vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and technology for job functions, including handheld equipment and cash register transactions.
