Position PurposeTo provide administrative support for DHSE cluster faculty, postdocs, visitors and to help manage student payroll and budgets.
Responsibilities- Provides fiscal and clerical support for faculty and staff of DHSE (40%)
- Maintains and updates budgets (20%)
- Project and event support (20%)
- Information management and communication (20%)
- Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others appropriate to an environment that is welcoming to all.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Associates or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Two years of office experience/management in a related field, with some autonomy.
Skill:
Strong organizational skills and ability to respond appropriately to pressures, deadlines and changes in priorities and schedules, with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated cultural competence.
- Commitment to diversity and proven effectiveness in serving the needs of a diverse undergraduate student population.
