Position Purpose
Provides day-to-day support to the Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty Committees and the Director of Academic Operations.
Maintains an understanding of office commitments and acts to ensure the smooth flow of work and timely accomplishments of office objectives. Works to increase office efficiency and productivity and serves as the first point of contact for both offices.

- Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- 3-5 years of office/administrative experience in a related field, with some degree of autonomy.
- In-depth knowledge of office and administrative procedures and workflow.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with tact and to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills, particularly in planning events and project support.
- Proficient in standard office systems such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, File Maker, and other programs. Proactive in learning new technologies.
- Demonstrated technology skills in managing and retrieving information from database systems.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and multitask within a busy environment.
- Initiative, sound judgement, and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills; enjoys working with a variety of people.
- Flexible nature, nimble, ability to adjust and respond to changing demands.
- Curious, creative, and engaged team player.
