Position Purpose
The Substitute Assistant Teacher supports teachers with childcare responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Some experience working with children.
- Completion of required training including training in universal precautions.
- Maintains pediatric First Aid/CPR training certification.

- High school graduate.

SpecialInstructions to Applicants
- Assists regular staff with childcare in a play‑based curriculum.
- Works with children ranging from 6 weeks to 54 months.
- Assists in supervising children, participating in play, and engaging children.
- Participates in some light housekeeping.
- Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others appropriate to an environment that is welcoming to all.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
