The Substitute Assistant Teacher supports teachers with childcare responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

* Some experience working with children.

* Completion of required training including training in universal precautions.

* Maintains pediatric First Aid/CPR training certification.

Preferred Qualifications

* High school graduate.

* Assists regular staff with childcare in a play-based curriculum.

* Works with children ranging from 6 weeks to 54 months.

* Assists in supervising children, participating in play, and engaging children.

* Participates in some light housekeeping.
* - Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others appropriate to an environment that is welcoming to all.
