The Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Students is one of a unit of undergraduate deans within the Division of Undergraduate Education in the School of Arts & Sciences. The Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Students is responsible for student advising and programming in the context of a highly selective liberal arts college environment. The Assistant Dean promotes students' intellectual and personal growth consistent with the mission of the College and helps administer College policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Masters or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
* Three years relevant work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Proven record of effectiveness in student advising, addressing needs of students from underrepresented backgrounds and support programs that promote student success.
* Proven record of successful experience responding to individual and community-based crises with a high level of discretion and experience with student privacy/confidentiality, including FERPA.
* Outstanding organizational skills, problem-solving, proficiency in teamwork, collaboration, flexibility, and strong communication to multiple audiences.
* Solid foundation in student developmental theory and its application to professional practice in student affairs.
* Experience with on-call responsibilities, student crisis management or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's Degree in higher education administration, student development and leadership, student personnel or related field with five years relevant work experience.
