As a Product Environmental Compliance Intern or Co-op, you'll work with engineers and suppliers to help ensure our products comply with environmental regulations around the world. This is a great opportunity for a student interested in materials science, chemistry, engineering, sustainability, or environmental compliance.
You'll gain hands-on experience researching regulations, supporting product design decisions, and helping create tools and processes that improve compliance and sustainability across our products.
Key Responsibilities Research and interpret environmental regulations that impact the materials used in our products
Help develop tools and guidance that support compliant product design
Partner with engineers to identify and reduce the use of restricted substances
Communicate with suppliers to gather material information and compliance data Assist in creating material and component specifications that meet current and future regulatory requirements
Present findings and recommendations to project teams
Qualifications/Skills Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Must have completed at least 2 years of coursework and be in good standing
Strong research and analytical skills
Interest in sustainability, environmental compliance, or product stewardship
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Moderate presentation skills
Knowledge and Skills that set you apart
Knowledge of environmental regulations such as RoHS, REACH, TSCA, or Proposition 65
Experience working with technical data or documentation
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
