Finance Business Partner at Hypertherm Associates is seeking a highly impactful, collaborative, and forward‑thinking finance leader to support both Plasma teams—Heavy Industrial Business (HIB) and Light Industrial Business (LIB). In this role you will partner closely with the HIB and LIB General Managers, serving as a trusted advisor and integral member of the leadership teams. Embedded within the business, you will play a critical role in delivering annual operating commitments and shaping the long‑term strategic direction of the businesses.
Responsibilities- Partner closely with the HIB and LIB General Managers, serving as a trusted advisor and integral member of the leadership teams.
- Embed within the business to deliver annual operating commitments and shape long‑term strategic direction.
- Co‑own business performance alongside GMs, driving alignment between strategy, execution, and financial outcomes.
- Lead and facilitate data‑driven decision‑making across capital investments, technology roadmaps, business strategy, and long‑range and annual planning processes.
- Drive decisions through data‑driven insights, sound analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Influence outcomes, partner across functions, and translate financial insights into actionable business decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years progressive experience in Operations Finance within a large manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Sales Finance, Business Development, or Strategy is a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with sharp strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, confident, and impactful messages across written, verbal, and presentation formats.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated track record of driving decisions through data‑driven insights, sound analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- CPA or CMA.
- MBA or master’s degree.
- Skills with Oracle Planning tools such as Oracle EPM, Hyperion, Essbase, and an Oracle ERP matrix reporting environment.
- Knowledge of the industrial equipment industry.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI).
Onsite – Hanover, NH (Relocation assistance available)
CompensationBase pay range: $ – $ per year. Pay within this range varies based on relevant experience, skills, and education, among other factors.
