Position PurposeWorking closely with the Associate Provost and Chief Financial Officer, the Provost Division Fiscal Officer manages thefull range of financial services, including budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis, for a portfolio of Provostdivision departments, centers, institutes, and programs. The role provides strategic and operational financial guidance and support, contributing to the advancement of divisional and institutional priorities while ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
The role also develops and maintains a deep understanding of areas within the Provost division.

Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications- Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Financial Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Eight years of relevant financial and administrative experience.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, withproficiency in accounting, spreadsheets, and related financial systems.
- Experience in grant and budget management, including strategic planning, cost-benefit analysis, and development of multi-yearfiscal plans.
- Ability to set priorities and respond effectively to pressures,deadlines, and shifting priorities.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
- Advanced degree, i.e. MBA or CPA .
- Comprehensive experience in grant administration in an academic setting.
- Higher education or nonprofit management experience strongly preferred.
