Position Purpose

Leads the financial planning, budgeting, and financial compliance for capital projects. This position ensures effective allocation of financial resources, defines process around financial reporting and compliance with financial policies and procedures. The role is responsible for analyzing annual, quarterly and off-cycle capitalinvestment opportunities, providing detailed financial models, and delivering insightful recommendations to executive leadership. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to monitor project performance, and drive data-informed decision-making.

Bachelors plus 6 or more years' experience or combination of education and experience

- Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or other relevant area ofstudy.
  • Minimum five to seven years of business experience analyzing and interpreting data, using financial modeling, and makingfact-based recommendations.
  • Excellent financial modeling and forecasting skills.
  • Experience with complex financial systems and database management.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of data and clearly identify,report and present key findings.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting key operational decisions with high-quality financial analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of spreadsheet packages (Excel) and standarddesktop applications (Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Develop and manage the organization’s annual, and quarterlycapital budgeting processes, including forecasting, allocation, and recommended approval of capital expenditures for Board of Trusteesvote. Partnering with both the CFAO and the VP of Facilities,ensures alignment of capital projects with strategic goals and financial objectives.
