Position Title
Health Service IT Assistant
Position DetailsLocation:
Hanover, NH 03755, 5-7 Rope Ferry Road. Onsite only. Term position, 12 months.
A one‑year term position that supports the Health Service IT with clinical and administrative systems used by health service staff. The Health Service IT Assistant acts as a departmental customer service agent supporting staff needs through several large projects over the next year including inventory management, device setup, report creation, and troubleshooting issues.
Responsibilities- Project management to correct medical record data issues and update the user & provider table in PNC to meet new license requirements. (50% of time)
- Troubleshoot issues reported by staff and campus services that affect DSHS systems; screen Health Services IT and individual campus email accounts and the campus IT ticketing system for related issues. (20% of time)
- Manage Health Services computer inventory through the Campus CAP program, including ordering and configuring desktops, laptops, and monitors. (20% of time)
- Manage user account processes including updating and creating PNC user accounts, EDH access, and Castries configuration. (10% of time)
- Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one year of experience with complex administrative information systems.
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
- Experience acting as support for an electronic medical records system.
- At least two years of experience with complex administrative information systems, preferably in a college or university healthcare setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
