Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior Virtualization and RDS Infrastructure Architect /
Engineer in the Hanover, MD area.
This is a hybrid role supporting a high-security VDI and customer
enclave platform built on Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022, Remote
Desktop Services, XCP-ng, NVIDIA GRID/vGPU, Dell server infrastructure,
and Sophos security/networking technologies.
We are looking for someone who is deeply experienced with Microsoft RDS,
Session Hosts, application virtualization, Windows Server
troubleshooting, customer-specific enclave architecture, performance
tuning, and production infrastructure support.
This person will be our internal RDS expert and will help design,
troubleshoot, expand, and improve customer environments that include
dedicated domain controllers, file servers, RDS Session Hosts, security
boundaries, and customized infrastructure requirements.
The role requires onsite work in Hanover, MD at least three days per
week, with additional onsite support as needed for datacenter work,
server builds, troubleshooting, and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
- Windows Server 2019 and 2022
- RDS Session Hosts, Gateway, Licensing, profiles, and app publishing
- VDI or session-based desktop environments
- XCP-ng, Xen, VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization platforms
- NVIDIA GRID/vGPU or GPU-backed workloads
- Dell servers, iDRAC, and datacenter operations
- Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and file services
- Secure infrastructure, segmentation, and high-reliability
environments
- Collaborating with Dev Ops and sales teams on infrastructure design

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering,
Cybersecurity, or related technical field (or equivalent
experience).
