Kendal at Hanover is seeking a full-time experienced General Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team!
Primary roles and responsibilities include:- Performing project assignments and renovations.
- Performing work requests to building interiors/ exteriors such as woodwork, furnishings, finishes, hardware, and maintaining grounds.
- Supporting the operational needs of the facility as needed.
- Responding to emergencies and other urgent needs for general services such as heating, lighting, water, and sewage.
- Proactively planning material requests necessary to complete work orders.
- Collaborating with department purchaser to identify necessary stock items.
Experience:
The successful candidate will have either an associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or ten or more years of related experience and/or training. MUST have a strong working knowledge of the related trades (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC). Preference will be given to applicants who have both 10+ years of experience and a degree.
You must have a valid driver's license in order to be considered for this position.

Work schedule:Monday through Friday 7:30 - 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break) with occasional on call responsibilities.
Pay:$27.04 - 32.70 per hour, depending on experience.
