Position Purpose

The Program Manager will manage a portfolio of faculty directed programs and be the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and partner institutions throughout the life cycle of a select number of programs. The role blends student services, operational logistics, and collaborative partnership management to ensure safe, enriching, and academically rigorous experiences for all participants.

Bachelors plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Education, Higher Education Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing study‑away, international exchange, or similar high‑visibility student‑service programs.
  • Proven track record coordinating faculty and external partners across cultural and institutional boundaries.
Skills, Knowledge And Abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse student populations, faculty, and international partners.
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation and writing skills are essential, along with managerial, organizational, and administrative skills; high level of self-sufficiency
  • Strong organizational and project‑management abilities; proficiency with workflow automation, and student management systems.
  • Analytical mindset; comfortable interpreting data and producing actionable recommendations.
  • Crisis‑management competence; calm, decisive response to emergencies.
  • Must be able to balance competing priorities and manage work cycles that are tied to the academic calendar and include intense work times.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and student‑information platforms.
  • Experience with travel‑booking tools and budgeting software is a plus.
  • Ability to travel internationally for site visits, partner meetings, and program oversight.
