Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Manufacturing Production, Industrial Maintenance
We are looking for a strong Production Technician to join our Stellar Industrial Sales team in Dartmouth NS
. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the ideal candidate must be mechanically inclined.

- Required to perform other duties as assigned including backup to other departments
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner

- Drives the Department’s initiatives to increase productivity, meet customer demands, reduce waste and reduce re-works
- Responsible for ensuring a quality product is produced based on company and customer standards/expectations and specified requirements
- Responsible for speed of production along with quality assurance and consistency with standards
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area
- Available for overtime
- Set goals and participate in the growth of Stellar by contributing new ideas and suggestions for continuing improvement
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent with additional education and training considered an assets
- Hold a Nova Scotia Driver’s License Class 5
- Mechanically inclined
- First Aid training is considered an asset
- Able to read a tape measure and carry out verbal instructions
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift Operator Safety Training an asset
- Be available for overtime when needed to meet customer requirements
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
