Overview
Starting pay for 3rd shift, including a 15% shift differential, is $26.05/hour. Immediate advancement opportunities are available within your first year.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a CNC Machine Operator, you will produce machined parts for our plasma cutting systems through machining, assembly, and packaging tasks in an assigned manufacturing area, following standard work instructions. You will work with your team members to support high‑quality, high‑output production and participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce environmental impacts, enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase shared profits.
Training & DevelopmentHypertherm Associates’ Technical Training Institute will guide you as you learn the valuable trade of CNC Machine Operation through a U.S. Department of Labor approved Apprenticeship Program. We will teach you, providing coaching on basic math and technical material. Opportunities for certification (Machine Operator II) and advance pay will be available upon successful assessment completion.

- Comfort and interest in working with technology; experience using MS Office (Outlook/Excel) and Windows operating systems

- Ability to follow and process instructions; basic math understanding
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work 3rd shift – Sunday through Thursday, 11:00pm – 7:00am
- Physical capability to lift 50pounds and stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
