Kendal at Hanover is seeking a full-timeCafe Attendant. The Cafe Attendant serves residents, guests, and staff in the Cafe in an efficient and organized manner, assisting in food preparation and maintaining a sanitary work and service area.

Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude the following:

• Assuring prompt service to all Kendal residents according to their individual needs.
• Demonstrating knowledge of the menu, including daily specials.
• Understanding the grocery program and items available for special orders, and having the ability to relay these options to residents and staff.
• Receiving orders for box lunches and grocery orders
• Maintaining service efficiency by performing pre- and post-meal side work as required.
• Alerting management to any problems or concerns that arise.
• Assuring sanitation of the Cafe by thoroughly cleaning all work areas before, during, and after service.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and one - three months of related experience and/or training.

This full-time position has varied shifts including evening and weekend shifts.

Pay: $17.25 - $22.00 per hour
