- Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday 1 pm–9:30 pm, Friday 9:30 am–6 pm, Saturday 11:30 pm–8 pm (Sunday & Monday off)

Under close supervision, set up and arrange serving areas in college dining facilities, serve food from service stations and steam tables, store leftover food, clean kitchen utensils and equipment, and assist with daily catering orders as needed. Serve as cashier/greeter as assigned.
Responsibilities- Prepare service stations for daily operations.
- Convey food and supplies from the kitchen to the serving site.
- Stock and arrange food, dishes, silverware, and other supplies at steam tables, ice counters, salad bars, and serving stations.
- Serve food items to customers from counters and/or steam tables, ensuring appropriate portions and dessert closings.
- Check food temperatures and reheat or dress food as needed.
- Wrap, date‑label, and properly store food items.
- Replenish foods and condiments at serving stations.
- Clean tables, seats, and general dining area in accordance with sanitary procedures.
- Operate point‑of‑sale system, greet and welcome guests, collect payments, and maintain cash drawer.
- Assist with daily catering orders, including reading menus, making sandwiches, and delivering orders to designated locations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of relevant food service experience or the equivalent.
- Food service experience in an institutional establishment preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic understanding of cleanliness procedures and general sanitation regulations.
- Ability to learn proper food protection and handling procedures.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; may work varied shifts and required overtime.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to apply customer relations procedures and policies.
