Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in high‑end residential finish carpentry.
- Precision:
Makes extremely accurate cuts and tight, clean joints. - Tool Mastery:
Expert with hand tools and finish carpentry power tools. - Joinery Skill:
Uses strong, precise joints such as miters, coped joints, and dovetails. - Design Awareness:
Understands proportions and reads plans accurately. - Material Knowledge:
Knows how different woods and materials behave. - Quality Work:
Installs trim, cabinetry, doors, and details with flawless results. - Proficient:
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and to convey instructions to others. - Collaborative:
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with co‑workers. - Skill/Specialty:
- Crown molding and decorative trim
- Baseboards and casing around doors/windows
- Built‑in cabinetry and shelving
- Stair railings and balusters
- Wainscoting and wall paneling
- Interior doors and custom frames
- Fireplace mantels and architectural details
$30.00–$38.00 per hour, starting base pay.
Total Compensation PackageEquivalent to approximately $43.00–$56.00+ per hour when company‑paid benefits are included.
Housewright invests an additional $13.00–$18.00+ per hour in benefits on top of hourly wages. Compensation and benefits are tailored to each candidate and are based on experience, demonstrated skill level, qualifications, certifications, and the responsibilities of the position offered.
Full‑Time Annual Compensation BreakdownBased on a 40‑hour work week.
