Job Overview
T-Rex is looking for a talented CNO Developer to work on a program in the Hanover, Maryland area in support of the Intelligence Community. This position is an onsite role.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of mission‑critical offensive cyber capabilities and drive excellence in advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO). You’ll be part of a dynamic team working on next‑generation solutions that safeguard our national security systems.
Responsibilities- Design and develop new hardware‑or software‑based CNO capabilities
- Assist with the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of application software and systems
- Apply knowledge of security concepts and network technologies
- Ensure software engineering standards are consistently met
- BS Degree in a technical discipline or High School Diploma and 4+ years of technical experience
- Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging
- Experience with networking (TCP/IP) and socket‑level programming
- Experience with low‑level system internals across one or more platforms
- Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering
- Experience with developing CNO capabilities
- Understanding of unit testing frameworks and practices
- Understanding of assembly programming concepts
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph prior to start, if required.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (50% of the time) and operate computer equipment and office machinery.
In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000. The salary is a general guideline and may be adjusted based on scope, experience, and market factors.
