To be successful as a Full Stack Java Development Engineer - AVP, you should have experience:
- Building full-stack solutions using Java (J2EE), Spring Boot, and ReactJS to deliver scalable, high-performance enterprise applications
- Designing microservices architectures and apply layered design patterns to address complex, real-world engineering challenges
- Following good coding standards, unit testing practices, and quality benchmarks to ensure reliable, maintainable, and resilient systems
- Demonstrating a problem-solving mindset with experience in performance optimization, observability, and resiliency within distributed systems
- Applying engineering best practices such as Design Patterns, CI/CD, and Test-Driven Development (TDD), while collaborating effectively in agile, cross-functional teams
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience working with both SQL and No
SQL databases - Good team-oriented mindset with ownership of end-to-end processes, excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders, adaptability, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-performance engineering environment
- Understanding of Financial Crime systems and related technologies

This role is located in our Whippany, NJ office.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the roleTo design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
- To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
