CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to partner with experienced structural steel Project Managers & Estimators to learn the process from bidding to project completion. After observing and engaging with department team members across a variety of tasks, interns will be assigned to a focused project. Learning areas will include:

* Coordinating with Estimators to prepare detailed pricing estimates for new projects, add-on work, or change orders

* Reviewing project schedules, sequencing plans, and logistics plans

* Reading specifications and blueprints to determine locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required

* Maintaining positive client relationships

* Coordinating field quality control reporting and survey coordination

* Communicating and coordinating with other project contractors to maintain schedule, delivery of materials, and mitigate design conflicts

REQUIREMENTS

* Rising sophomore, junior, or senior in an undergraduate program such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related academic majors

* Strong software skills including Microsoft Office

* Availability for a full-time schedule during the summer season

* Availability for travel to job sites within the region

* Ability to follow safety requirements and uphold Kinsley Steel's safety values
