Night Shift; 3rd shift General Plant Maintenance Mechanic

Position: Night Shift (3rd shift) General Plant Maintenance Mechanic
Vulcan Materials Company -  - Responsibilities:
Repair and Maintain Plant Equipment. Perform repairs and maintenance throughout the plant including screen changes, conveyor belt repair and adjustment, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service.;
Repair and Maintain Mobile Equipment. Perform minor repairs to front end wheel loaders and skid steers including hydraulic hoses, bucket cutting edges, and other miscellaneous repairs to maintain safe operation.;
Perform PM services on mobile equipment on a scheduled basis including lube services and sampling.;
Inspect Equipment and Structures. Perform daily inspections and maintenance of the plant equipment in order to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruptions.;
Railcar Unloading:
Assist in the rail unloading process as needed, including operating the rail car mover, operating air actuated gates, monitoring unloading equipment and setting rail car handbrakes.
