Join our team at Hanover Foods Corporation as a Depalletizer Operator on the 3rd shift! We are looking for dedicated individuals to operate our automated depalletizer and ensure the smooth flow of products to our labeling lines. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with room for growth.

• Operate the automated depalletizer to ensure a smooth flow of products to the labeling lines.
• Report any mechanical or safety issues to the Supervisor or Lead person immediately.
• Inspect products for can codes and manufacturing defects (e.g., bad seams, swells, dented cans).
• Remove and neatly stack divider sheets from between layers of cans.
• Maintain accurate and neat paperwork and forms.
• Assist the forklift driver in securing cans on the top layer.
• Operate and maintain the empty skid palletizer.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area.
• Adhere to plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity.
• Follow common safety practices and procedures, including wearing protective equipment.
• Execute food safety, legality, and quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Lead person.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to record data onto a spreadsheet.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills with management and co-workers.
• Ability to work in various environments.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Good attendance record.
• Safe work habits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a food processing facility.

Physical Demands

• Ability to frequently stand, walk, and use hands for handling and manipulating objects.
• Ability to occasionally climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to push/pull up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally.

Environmental Factors

• Occasionally exposed to extreme cold and heat (non-weather).
• Frequently exposed to loud noise levels.
