Job Shift Graveyard

• Ensures the proper labels are placed into the magazine of the labeling machine.
• Operates the can machine to ensure labels are applied to the cans properly. Requires set up and making some minor adjustments.
• Inspects cans between the labeling and casing machines and removes mislabeled or damaged containers.
• Informs the Supervisor or Lead person of any can container damage.
• Adds glue to the machine (lap paste and hot pick-up) when necessary.
• Maintains continuous flow to ensure continuous production.
• Assists in filling out the necessary paperwork (IC cards, downtime, etc.).
• Responsible for physically lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Should not leave assigned line unless given permission by the Supervisor or Lead person.
• Reports any mechanical or safety problems to Supervisor or Lead person immediately.
• Keeps work area clean in accordance with good housekeeping practices (clean floors, equipment, etc.).
• Adheres to the Company's plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity.
• Adheres to common safety practices and procedures including the wearing of protective equipment and clothing as required. Reports any safety issues immediately to Supervisor.
• Responsible for the execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP's, HACCP, safety, product quality, food security, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Lead person.
