Maintenance Technician
Responsible for the necessary functions to maintain all aspects of the plant, including maintaining, repairing, and installing all equipment.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot motors, motor control centers, AC/DC electrical circuits, and test fuses, wiring, and motors.
- Experience with HMIs or PLCs required
- Troubleshoot and rebuild gearboxes, pumps, and other rotational units
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and forklifts
- Make visual assessments of lubrication and equipment conditions
- Assist with welding and fabricating guards, steps, framework, etc.
- Modify and install new equipment, as needed
- Other duties as required
Impressive Safety Record Mechanical Ability Strong Electrical/Instrumentation Knowledge Communication Proficiency Technical Capacity Problem Solving Computer Proficiency
High School diploma or GED preferred; or 3-5 years relevant experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to be on their feet for up to 12 hours per day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance if required.
